As the class size in all the batches of undergraduate and postgraduate programs is around 30, the students receive individual attention in the class. The faculties also advise them regarding academic and other relevant matters outside class hours which makes students feel like a part of a closely-knit family. They get the opportunities to present their sessional projects and theses at national and international events. Some of them have gone on to win international prizes. The department encourages the participation of students in socio-cultural and sports activities to make them all-around persons.
