𝐁𝐔𝐄𝐓 𝐔𝐑𝐏 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐕𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞-𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐩𝐩 “𝐉𝐲𝐆𝐨”

Three students of level 2 term 2 (Jobayer Khan (2215004), Mustaqeem Morshed (2215007), and Abul Bashar (2215021)) of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (URP) of BUET, have launched Bangladesh’s first vehicle-pooling app, “JyGo”. The wonderful initiative addresses key urban challenges by connecting passengers travelling on similar routes, enabling shared rides and fare splitting with savings of up to 50% to 80% under a zero-commission model. JyGo also prioritises safety showing features such as user verification, live tracking, emergency support, and a “Gender Preference”. Since its launch in January, the platform has gained over 5,000 users and recognised as a Top 4 Ride Hailing Company on F6S. The team aims to expand it to India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka on a trial basis by the end of this year. Heartiest congratulations to the team on this extraordinary achievement.
