MURP Students Awarded NST Fellowship

Mr. Md. Rokonuzzaman and Mr. Shajibul Haque, from the Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program, have been awarded the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship for the fiscal year 2024–2025 for pursuing their MURP theses. The fellowship, administered by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Bangladesh, has been awarded to them in the Physical Science group. Mr. Md. Rokonuzzaman is pursuing his thesis titled "A Study of Urban Water-Logging Issues in the Rangpur City Corporation Area”, under Professor Asif-uz-Zaman Khan’s supervision, and Mr. Shajibul Haque is pursuing his thesis titled "A Study on Distribution of Private Vehicle Ownership and Vehicle Kilometres Travel in Dhaka", under Professor Md. Musleh Uddin Hasan’s supervision. We extend our wholehearted congratulations to them for securing the prestigious award.
