Completion of BURP Thesis Defense Sessions for Batch 19

We are delighted to share the news regarding the successful completion of the two-day BURP thesis defense sessions for Batch 19, held on the 10th and 11th of March 2025. This event showcased our students’ hard work, dedication, and innovative research, covering a wide range of urban and regional planning topics. The defense was organized into four panels, two on each day. Each panel comprised faculty members and external experts from relevant sectors, providing valuable insights and feedback to our students. On the first day, Panel 1 focused on urban and regional issues with 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐣𝐚 𝐀𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐫, 𝐑𝐀𝐉𝐔𝐊, 𝐌𝐝. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐧, 𝐀𝐃𝐁, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝, 𝐈𝐃𝐂𝐎𝐋, as external members. Panel 2 featured transport-related thesis works, including external members 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐝. 𝐍𝐚𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧, 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐮𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐫, 𝐀𝐃𝐁, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐝. 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐡𝐢𝐝, 𝐌𝐨𝐇𝐏𝐖. The second day comprised Panels 3 and 4. Panel 3 addressed issues related to Disaster and Environment. The external members of this panel were 𝐌𝐫. 𝐒.𝐌. 𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐡𝐬𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌. 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐢, 𝐈𝐖𝐌, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫. 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐪 𝐁𝐢𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐟, 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭. Panel 4 focused on topics related to MRT in the presence of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐃𝐌𝐓𝐂𝐋, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐮𝐥 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐦, 𝐃𝐓𝐂𝐀, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐥 𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐫, 𝐁𝐑𝐓𝐀.
