Batch ‘22 successfully Completes Engineering Survey Fieldwork for July 2023 Term

The Batch ‘22 successfully completed the Engineering Survey Fieldwork (PLAN 164) for the July 2023 term, with a special focus on drone technology. Students attended lectures on Drone Survey techniques, followed by a field demonstration, data collection, and processing. This hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technology, alongside traditional methods like Reconnaissance Survey, Chain Survey, Plane Table Survey, Levelling & Contouring, and Traverse Surveys, is expected to equip the students with comprehensive engineering survey skills. The fieldwork ended on 10 June 2024. We look forward to seeing our students apply these skills in their future careers and innovate in the planning field.
