Introducing the OBE Curriculum of the BURP Program

We are delighted to introduce the recently approved Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum of the undergraduate program of the department. Since the beginning of its Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURP) program in 1995, the Department is committed to offer state-of-the-art teaching and learning environment for its students. The latest curriculum focuses on sustainable development, justice, and equity. It intends to prepare the graduates to face the contemporary planning challenges in the age of information and fourth industrial revolution. The new curriculum has been developed through a number of consultations, rigorous meetings, and debates with the stakeholders. We express our profound appreciation to our esteemed alumni, employers, previous faculty members, dedicated students, and staff who played an instrumental role in shaping this initiative.
