URP Students Won the Competition on SDGs

Ms. Mimosa Ahmed and Ms. Tasnim Tahrin from BURP ’19 became the Champion in a competition titled “EnvoFrame”. It was organized to stimulate the understanding and promotion of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through visual storytelling. Mr. Khalid-Bin-Shofiq and Ms. Fariha Aktar from BURP ’18 secured the 2nd runner-up position in the same competition. Both teams focused on multiple SDGs with special emphasis on SDG 11- Sustainable Cities and Communities. In the first round of the competition, 37 teams participated from different universities including Dhaka University, Bangladesh University of Professionals, Military Institute of Science and Technology, North South University, Independent University of Bangladesh, etc. The top five teams competed in the final round, held on 28 May 2023.
